Remie’s first birthday was being celebrated the very next day so I got to shoot her first cake smashing. Nothing…and I repeat…nothing can beat a babies first experience with that much sugar. And Remie’s family was my sugar. The entire crew came and was nothing short of hilarious making this one of the funnest shoots I’ve had the opportunity to shoot. Oh and did I mention that Remie was a beautiful joy filled little girl full of a big personality? Oh yeah…that’s my kinda girl 
Oh sweet Henry. Henry was one the cutest little sweethearts I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting - and his family was overflowing with love. That love could be seen in every little thing they did with their little boy. When I got to their home, they had everything ready…every detail…down to the sweet knitted hat and cacoon for their baby. And they welcomed me with open arms….I just hope that these photos show how blessed this family really is…and how much I appreciated being able to capture such an amazing and handsome blessing that they totally deserved.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – this little girl was my favorite. Sweet little Mallie was such a doll….and such a good sleeper that we actually had to stir her just to get some big open newborn eyes. She was lucky enough to be born to the sweetest military couple that you could literally see the love pouring out of them for their little girl. And their thoughtful pieces that they had available for the shoot – a giant wooden family cradle, a handmade quilt, and the little Carolina blue dress & headband – each one showed a piece of their family.
